Julian, and co-presenter, fishing expert Rhys Llywelyn, attempt to catch a shark from the shore – and though many have accepted the challenge, no one in Britain has been successful yet. “We tried to catch a Blue or a Beagle shark, and it was a huge challenge. We only had three days when realistically we needed three weeks,” said Julian, who started fishing when he was twelve years old.

Starting in the Isles of Scilly, the series will takes us on a journey around Britain, focusing on the westerly islands of the country. The two keen fishermen visit the Channel Islands, Anglesey, islands off the coast of Northern Ireland, the Hebrides and the Shetland Islands.

Julian and Rhys fish for a wide variety of under-water creatures from the sea, from rivers, lakes and from the Scottish lochs.
