Ifan Jones Evans learns more about the route and history of the old Royal Mail coaches from London to Ireland. He enjoys the food, clothes and entertainment of the nineteenth century and meets a number of contributors and supporters along the way.

At the end of each night, he parks up and enjoys a series of special events from the past. The journey begins in the centre of London and the stagecoach enters Wales at Chirk, near Oswestry.

Ifan and the stagecoach make their first scheduled stop in Wales at Riverside Park, Llangollen, where their arrival was celebrated with an evening of folk music and dancing. Ifan  joins opera singer and presenter Shân Cothi at Riverside Park.
