BBC Radio Wales | Dylan’s Amateur Dramatics |

Telesgop has been commissioned to produce a short radio series for BBC Radio Wales to mark the Dylan Thomas centenary in 2014. ‘Dylan’s Amateur Dramatics’ is an intimate and entertaining portrayal of life at Swansea Little Theatre Company where Dylan Thomas was once a member and performer. We’ll follow the volunteers at the heart of the theatre in the lead up to their own Dylan Thomas inspired play.

On the 8th of April 2013, a documentary programme was broadcast on Radio Cymru about a teacher at Ysgol y Preseli. Lowri Harris suffers from a degenerative genetic disorder – Friedreich’s Ataxia. The programme was a chance to hear her story, her battle and hope for the future.

Since October 2012, Telesgop has been producing a new radio programme for Radio Cymru – the presenter is Iola Wyn. It is broadcast daily from Monday – Friday between 10:30am – 12:30pm. A mixture of interesting chats, a variety of music and a daily puzzle.

As the Queen celebrates her Diamond Jubilee, this documentary for BBC Radio Wales looks back at 60 years of Welsh history by meeting people whose lives have been touched in some way by the Queen – for better or worse. It is presented by Simon Weston OBE, the Falkland’s War veteran. The programme is being broadcast at 1830 on Monday 4th June and again at 0532 on Friday 8th June.
