Telesgop has a pedigree going back twenty years in factual television production. Our clients include the BBC, S4C, Channel 4, Discovery Channel and Animal Planet.
We have built a reputation for high quality programming across a range of genres with expertise in documentary, specialist-factual and factual entertainment.
The company’s longest running series, ‘Ffermio’, has been broadcast since 1997. This popular weekly programme combines wildlife and agricultural stories with a current affairs approach and is broadcast on S4C on Monday evenings. It consistently draws some of the channel’s biggest audiences.
Telesgop is expanding its UK network slate. We produced ‘Heath Vs Wilson: The Ten Year Duel’ (2011) and the arts documentary ‘Turner’s Thames’ presented by Matthew Collings (2012) for BBC FOUR. We also produced ‘Wallis Simpson: The Secret Letters’ for Channel 4 (2011) and our latest documentary for the channel, ‘Edward VIII’s Murderous Mistress’ is due to air in April 2013.
We work with international distributors to ensure our programmes reach a wide audience and currently have representation with TVF International and DRG.
Telegsop has also co-produced with international broadcasters to reversion series for a UK audience Our partnership with NDR for the series ‘Wild Russia with Iolo Williams’ for S4C was a successful example of this collaborative approach.
