The new series of Bro on S4C will meet different characters who live and work on the new Wales coastal trail.

To coincide with the opening of the new Wales Coast Path in May this year, the new series of Bro on S4C will follow this coastal trail. Talented athlete Lowri Morgan will be joining Shân Cothi and Iolo Williams to present Bro: Llwybr yr Arfordir when they discover more about the 870-mile footpath. In the first programme on Tuesday, 3 April, Lowri will try snowboarding with trainer Bedwyr ap Gwyn at the top of the Great Orme in Llandudno, which will be part of the world's first national coastal path. "This is an ideal job for me; I love outdoor activities such as snowboarding and surfing, and of course I get the chance to meet people and hear their reasons for living on the coast," says Lowri, who's originally from the Gower, near Swansea but now lives in Cardiff. "The opening of the Wales Coast Path will be a special and historic occasion. Every time I've been running abroad, whether in the Arctic or in the jungle, someone has commented how the coastline is like a playground for those who live there, because it offers so many activities.
