Dych chi’n defnyddio 'bod' ar ôl 'dw i’n meddwl/siwr/gwybod' ac ati.
'Bod' is used after 'dw i'n meddwl/siwr/gwybod' etc.

Mae ‘bod’ yn cyfateb i ‘that is’ neu ‘that was’ yn Saesneg:
‘Bod’ corresponds to ‘that is’ or ‘that was’ in English.

Ydy Charlotte yn gwybod bod ysbryd yn y tŷ?
Does Charlotte know that there is a ghost in the house?

Oedd Charlotte yn gwybod bod ysbryd yn y tŷ?
Did Charlotte know that there was a ghost in the house?

Mae 'bod' yn treiglo gyda rhai rhagenwau. Dych chi ddim yn clywed y rhagenwau ar lafar yn aml iawn.
‘Bod’mutates with some personal pronouns. You do not hear these pronouns in speech very often.

mod i - (that) I am/was
Dw i’n meddwl mod i’n well. I think (that) I’m better.

fod ti - (that) you are/ were
Do'n i ddim yn gwybod fod ti’n ei nabod e. I didn’t know (that) you knew him.

fod e - (that) he is/was
Ro'n i’n gwybod fod e’n dipyn o ‘gasanova’. I knew (that) he was a bit of a ‘casanova’.

bod hi -(that) she is/was
Dwedodd hi bod hi eisiau tŷ mawr. She said (that) she wants a big house.

bod chi – (that) you are / were
Mae’n swnio fel bod chi wedi cael tipyn o ddadl.It sounds like you’ve had quite an argument.

bod nhw – (that) they are / were
Basai holl ferched y dre yn gallu dweud bod nhw’n hen gariadon iddo fe.
All the town's women could say they were an (old lover) ex of his.
