mor oer â - as cold as yn oerach na - colder than yr oera - the coldest

geiriau hir – long words

mor ddiddorol â - as interesting as mwy diddorol na - more interesting than y mwya diddorol - the most interesting

mor gynnar â - as soon/early as yn gynharach na - earlier than y cynhara - the earliest
mor drwm â - as heavy as yn drymach na - heavier than y tryma - the heaviest
mor ddrud â - as expensive as yn ddrutach na - more expensive than y druta - the most expensive

da mor dda â - as good as yn well na- better than y gorau – the best
drwg mor ddrwg â- as bad as yn waeth na- worse than y gwaetha- the worst
bach mor fach â- as small as yn llai na - smaller than y lleia- the least
mawr mor fawr â - as big as yn fwy na - bigger than y mwya – the most

NODYN: Mae treiglad meddal gyda geiriau benywaidd.
NOTE: There is a soft mutation with feminine words.

Y sioe fwya / Y ceffyl mwya
The biggest show / The biggest horse

Nodwch y patrwm gwahanol gyda 'mwya', 'druta', 'gorau' ac ati.
Notice the different pattern with 'mwya'. 'druta', 'gorau' etc.

Mae sioe Llanaber mor fawr â sioe Llanwennol.
Mae sioe Llanaber yn fwy na sioe Llandybie.
