Beth sy’n bod ? What’s the matter?

Dyn ni’n defnyddio ‘'da’ wrth drafod salwch yn ymwneud â’r corff.
We use ‘gyda’ when talking about illness using parts of the body.

  • Mae llwnc tost ’da ti
  • Mae clust dost ’da fe
  • Mae bola tost ’da hi
  • I’ve got a headache
  • You’ve got a sore throat
  • He’s got earache
  • She’s got a tummy ache

Wrth drafod anhwylderau eraill rhaid defnyddio ‘ar’, e.e. annwyd / ffliw/ peswch.
‘Ar’ is used when referring to other illnesses, e.g cold / flu / cough
